Employment Support Specialist

Core Duties

  • Identify clients’ profiles and formulating, developing and implement programs for clients together with trainers.
  • Carry out site visits to monitor the progress of work performance, and gather feedback from employers.
  • Engage, assess and follow up with caregivers and companies to ensure the sustainability of employment.
  • Oversee the progress of trainees, evaluate and provide feedbacks to update intervention and training programs.
  • Conduct internal case reviews; monitor and coordinate the progress of youth to ensure the timely assessments and interventions.
  • Participate in the development and evolution of the approach in employability training and employment support.
  • Act as a liaison among the trainee, teachers, supervisors, co-workers, parents, and employers, to facilitate communication and resolve conflicts, if any.
  • Administer and process client applications and enrolment.
  • Involved in digital tool design to optimise the workflow and effectiveness of training and intervention.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Degree holder in community service, social work, psychology, counselling, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Open to a start-up environment.
  • Self-motivated and outcome-oriented.
  • Good analytic thinker, patient and effective problem-solver.
  • Possess a responsible, empathetic, and caring nature.
  • Passionate in ground work.
Research/Training Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective learning support to clients with special needs (ASD, Intellectual Disability, Physical Disability, Hearing Impairment, etc).
  • Provide employment support to clients with special needs at their workplace.
  • Work collaboratively with trainers and job coaches to prepare teaching materials and resources.
  • Assist in managing cases and database.
  • Assist in designing and implanting matrix for progress tracking and intervention outcome evaluation.
